 Backups

You can download a backup file at any time by navigating to the Admin link if you are an admin.

The Download backup button is next to a note about what the backup includes.

Restoring

You can restore from backup by clicking the Restore tab on the same Admin screen, clicking the Restore from backup…, and selecting a backup file you previously downloaded.

Select the backup file that you downloaded previously.

EdgeSet displays information about the backup file before confirming that you want to restore it.

Backup security

Backup files are encrypted. They can only be restored to an EdgeSet server usig the same license key that you created the backup with.

For added security, we recommend you don’t store your license file alongside the backup files.
